Star Media is one of the leaders in the production of films and series in CIS. It was established in 2006. Star Media’s president is Vlad Riashyn, a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (EMMY) and The European Film Academy (EFA). The company’s portfolio comprises over 7,000 hours of content and includes more than 500 titles. Apart from the production of content, the company is developing its own television broadcasting network: Star Cinema, Star Family and Bolt channels are already available in several European countries. Another strategic line in company’s development is YouTube. The company’s Multi-Channel Network (MCN) includes over 40 channels, and as of today Star Media is one of the main content aggregators on YouTube in the CIS.
